Vain Dreamer
You feel like an eagle, so proud of your wings
Soar high, soar high, be faster than the wind
Your showy peacock feather glittering in the sun
Blinding the poor fellow, you so desire to charm
Farther you fly, further you flap your wings
On top of a high mountain you think you own the sky
Looking at all others as they crawl to the zenith high
Smiling to yourself you swear- they couldn't go that far
You chirp and chirp as smarter as you can
You think you own wisdom
The creatures at your command
Your little voice echoes to plains and hills and mounts
You think you hear the thunder, whispers as you speak up
You're so powerful, you assume yourself you are
But fellow, I'm so sorry...
I have to wake you up!
